Rosanne Scott M.S.,LPC

Rosanne obtained her Master’s degree in counseling from University of Houston, Clear Lake and attended Texas A&M University for her Bachelor’s degree.

Rosanne has 32 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She has extensive experience in providing support to individuals and families who are struggling with teachers, grades, peers, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress, loss of loved ones, self-esteem, and family conflict.

Rosanne believes that individuals want to be heard and understood.  People want to feel better and more optimistic at the end of a therapy session, and that is her goal.  Helping others change some behaviors can assist clients to a more productive and optimistic outlook on their existence.

“My goal as a counselor is to be present and listen thoroughly with an empathetic ear. Providing a safe and comfortable environment for each of my clients is paramount. Helping a client change their inner-voice to one that is kind, loving and forgiving is a vital part of improving one’s outlook on life.”

Norman Vincent Peale’s quote from his best-selling book, "The Power of Positive Thinking", sums up my counseling philosophy: 'Change your thoughts, and you’ll change your world’”
