Who We Help

Individuals

Sometimes the stresses of life are overwhelming. The pressures of work, school, home life, and relationships can be difficult to manage. Add feelings of depression or anxiety to these stressors, and it can feel like you’re drowning at times. Having someone to talk to and help you navigate these challenges can provide a lifeline of hope.

Therapy provides a safe, accepting, non-judgmental place to explore your personal issues and discover strengths within yourself. At Renew, our goal is to empower you to make changes in your life that lead to personal growth and long-term happiness, and to provide encouragement and support along the way.

Couples

An intimate relationship with a partner can be one of the most rewarding experiences in our lives. Which is why if that relationship is faltering, it can also be one of the most painful experiences we endure. An emotional connection with someone we love and trust is a powerful source of happiness, peace, and wholeness in our lives. But this connection can be fragile at times. It often erodes when we don’t have the emotional tools to nurture it during the difficult stages all couples go through, or rebuild it when it has been shattered by hurt, resentment, or betrayal.

A relationship is a dynamic that both partners contribute to. Therapy provides a safe environment for partners to explore and share their vulnerabilities, take responsibility for their contributions to the problems, develop a greater self-awareness, and grow in their understanding of and compassion for one another. Whether you’re navigating a difficult time in your relationship, attempting to heal from past wounds, or simply wanting to deepen the friendship and connection in your relationship, couples therapy can help.

Children and Teens

Children and teens tend to process challenges differently than adults.  They may isolate, act out, or develop other behavioral problems.  It is important to provide a trusting environment for children and adolescents to help them express their feelings in a healthy and appropriate way and teach them effective coping skills.

Sometimes, parents feel overwhelmed when their child is struggling with emotional or behavioral problems. At Renew, we are committed to helping your child or teen improve their mood and overall well-being as well as the well-being of the family. We not only work with the child or teen, but we will also include the parents in the therapy process as much as needed in order to make the desired changes and improvements.
